Psilocybin-Assisted Facilitation

A complete psilocybin experience includes careful preparation, a supported session, and extended integration work. This isn't a quick process — and that's intentional. Meaningful exploration takes time.

  • Preparation (2–3 sessions): We discuss your intentions, address concerns, and build the trust that makes honest exploration possible.
  • Facilitated Session (4–8 hours): A psilocybin experience in a comfortable, private setting. I'm present throughout, providing support while giving you space to explore your inner landscape.
  • Integration (2–3 sessions): Where the real work often happens — making sense of your experience and building skills you keep.

Location: In-person in Ashland, Oregon (required by Oregon law)

Integration & Life Coaching

Integration doesn't end after a few sessions. For many people, the most valuable work happens over months as insights gradually weave into daily life.

I offer ongoing support — whether you've worked with me for a psilocybin session or not. This can include:

  • Processing and understanding your experiences
  • Identifying and shifting unhelpful patterns
  • Developing skills in self-inquiry and emotional awareness
  • Support during life transitions or challenging periods

Location: Available virtually (phone/video) or in-person in Ashland

Common
Questions

Is this legal?

Yes. Oregon voters passed Measure 109 in 2020, making Oregon the first state to create a regulated framework for psilocybin services. The Oregon Health Authority licenses both service centers and facilitators. I hold a state facilitator license (FL-e38b1876) and work within licensed service centers. No prescription or medical referral is required, and you don't need to be an Oregon resident to participate.

How do I know if this is right for me?

There's a brief confidential questionnaire regarding medications and mental health history. This isn't pass/fail — it's to ensure we proceed with appropriate care. The free consultation is also a great place to explore this question together.

What if cost is a barrier?

I offer sliding scale pricing and welcome clients regardless of financial situation. Let's talk about what's possible.

What's the time commitment?

A complete psilocybin facilitation package typically spans several weeks and includes:

  • 2–3 preparation sessions (60–90 minutes each) — we build trust, discuss your intentions, and I help bridge the gap between what you know and what lies ahead
  • 1 facilitation day (4–8 hours) — the psilocybin session itself, in a comfortable private space in Ashland, Oregon
  • 2–3 integration sessions (60–90 minutes each) — making sense of what surfaced and developing skills for ongoing self-inquiry

Extended integration and life coaching support is available as needed. Preparation and integration sessions can happen virtually.

What happens during a psilocybin session?

You'll be in a comfortable, private space with soft lighting and the option for music or silence. I'll be present throughout but won't direct your experience — my role is to hold space, not to interpret or guide what arises. The effects typically last 4–6 hours. During this time you may explore thoughts, emotions, memories, and insights. Some people have vivid realizations, others notice subtler shifts in how they relate to familiar patterns. Both are real. After the acute effects subside, we'll spend time in quiet reflection before you head home.

Will you be taking psilocybin with me?

No. As your facilitator, I remain completely sober and present throughout your session.

Is this like therapy?

No. I'm not a licensed therapist, and psilocybin facilitation in Oregon is a distinct service from psychotherapy. What I offer is facilitation and coaching — holding space for your own self-inquiry and helping you develop skills to understand yourself more deeply. Many people find that psilocybin work complements ongoing therapy, and I'm happy to coordinate with your therapist if you'd like. The difference is approach: therapy often works through conversation and analysis, while facilitation creates conditions for direct personal insight. Read more about my approach.

Are there medical restrictions?

Psilocybin isn't appropriate for everyone. A confidential screening asks about:

  • Current medications (especially SSRIs, MAOIs, psychiatric medications)
  • Personal or family history of psychosis or schizophrenia
  • Cardiovascular conditions
  • Current mental health status

This isn't about judgment — it's about safety.

What if I have a difficult experience?

Difficult moments can arise — that's part of the process. I'm trained to support you through challenging experiences. Most of the time, what feels difficult in the moment becomes meaningful in retrospect. Integration work helps you make sense of it.

Can I do sessions virtually?

Psilocybin sessions must be in person per Oregon law. Preparation, integration, and coaching can all happen virtually.

What if I don't live in Oregon?

You're welcome to travel to Ashland, Oregon for your psilocybin session — many clients do. Oregon law requires the facilitated session to be in person at a licensed service center, but all preparation and integration sessions can happen virtually via video call before and after your visit. You don't need to be an Oregon resident to access psilocybin services.
